It seemed tripled. I just found it again on a DC 2017 quarter. I'm glad I'm on the east coast

Yes, this is 'MD' (not MT) it is incuse MD because the devices (the letters are incuse), or below the surface of the coin.

Sorry I didn't want to spam threads. I'm finding a lot of errors like this on 2017 & up. Are they even worth anything over face value ?

Incused Machine Doubling is very common on quarters. No premium.

Machine Doubling is not an error, it's damage. Not worth a premium. And yes all the "new" quarters have a lot of MD, along with small die chips, which also carry no premium for the people that know what they are.

Yea, the new quarters are junk. I'm working on my camera. Maybe I should start further away from the coin
