I would like to hear some grading thoughts on this crusty dime, it looks to be original? Thanks for all opinions!

I'll take a stab and say VF20, lacks eye appeal IMO.

I'm talking out loud...
Is the scratch on the obverse right field acceptable for the wear to still be straight graded?
I would be hesitant to acetone this one for fear of having that scratch becoming more pronounced...?
idk?

I agree, it is not a beauty. I'm just trying to get a close grade for a fair price point. The scratch I would mention and let the buyer decide.

VF 20, surfaces appear original, distracting scratch.
Not a difficult date to find in better condition.

youre probably correct about that scratch. eye appeal is on the lower end of the scale

VF20 sounds right with that reverse. technically the obv looks VF30 but the reverse and eye appeal would lower this one. not sure about the scratch
