I don't see what this guy is selling. It doesn't make any sense. Maybe you can understand what's going on here.

I think it is someone who does not understand the concept of split plating and die abrasion marks

you missed the decimal place

1 gram over= definite error
0.1 gram over= within tolerance

These are the ones that get tossed back to the bank. I'm surprised he doesn't say it's also a Wide AM. Maybe I should reconsider.

Well okay then--because when it comes to errors and die varieties, belief is what counts--and not the facts.

I suppose this is why I appreciate the experts here so much--because they providing an invaluable service by educating on the die making and coining process. Otherwise, it's just one collector's opinion vs. another.
