There appears to be something present where the designers initials would be. LIBERTY appears to be a victim of circulation dings and hits. Marv65 Bedrock of the Community United States 10529 Posts	Posted 04/28/2024 7:50 pm That's just the way 1969 Lincoln Memorials dies were, Obverse dies were "light" in Details, Obverse dies were bold, and dies were polished to prolong their life as they were used to death - resulting in polishing that made the FG "get gone" - also a prime year for the "floating roof" that your coin does not have surprisingly.
