I already have an example of the following panda and this is very low grade as I expected it to be when I bought it raw, but I find the toning very nice indeed and it is extremely rare amongst silver pandas.
I don't usually buy/do toning at all but what do the tone experts think? Does it make up for the low grade or is it just a curiosity in your opinion?
I apologize in advance for the photo as my camera is broken and had to use my phone.

I hope it looks better in hand. Not for me.

@Marve65. thanks, makes sense that it can be problematic for experts ... I don't typically collect toned coins much at all.

I tried to make it look as different as possible in the two photos. In hand its actually quite attractive face on and looks like a typical mirrored ring panda but as if it is made of copper instead of silver.

I sense a consensus developing
My only consolation is that it cost less than 100 bucks including getting it graded...
But a valuable lesson for me:)

Well you got a nice grade on it, but I'm not a fan of toned silver coins either. All mine are blast white and clean..

Pretty much mine too Dearborn - I think my brief foray into toned coins ends here as I am clearly not cut out for selecting them:) I will probably just give it away at some point when I am ready to take my loss
