So I've been coin roll hunting- it's really fun to me lol, but haven't found anything too valuable yet- but I opened this roll and it is all 1975 uncirculated coins. They can be considered uncirculated right, since they were all still sealed from the bank?

I know sometimes old coins sell for a lot just because they're high grade. would these 1975s have any value?

Thank you all

Only way to tell is to take them to a local coin shop and ask.

Oh wow thank you. I'm assuming these are 67? I never tried grading coins but it says $90 in the highest grade so that's exciting

The vast majority of these will fall between MS-60 to 65. If you're real lucky, you might find a 66 but don't get too excited. The odds of a even a 66 are very low with this issue.

Not much value. Worth like a dollar at most each, if it's BU.

Agree with BadThad. These might serve well as album hole fillers until better come along.

No way to generalize about the grades. My guess is that your LCS won't have any interest.

the coin displayed is probably 63 or 64.

i'd say go through each one. look at each coin closely, look for any scuffs, marks, ticks or weak strike areas. set aside the best ones and look at them again. if they pass your eye test, post them here, one coin per thread, both sides. crop the photos and only show one side on a photo. we will let you know what you have. you could literally go through thousands of coins to find one 67 in a roll.

as a side note, UNC is uncirculated, MS is Mint state and assigns a numeric grade based on flaws. a coin in circulation could still be MS if it does not show any signs of wear

MS-63, 64 and maybe one or two are MS-65. Retail for most of them will be about 10 cents.
