Again guys I'm new to this lol Idk what to think of this mint mark, it looks as if the letter "M" was punched into the "D" mint mark? Or maybe I'm seeing things here lol what do y'all think? Thanks you all to infinity for all of the shared knowledge.

@Newcoingeek ... most of the "oddities" you'll come across will have been done to the coin after leaving the mint ... whether intentional, or unintentional damage ... not saying you won't discover coins damaged in the minting process, but they're rare, as opposed to the hundreds of millions of post-mint damaged coins ... BUT ... don't get discouraged ... keep looking & keep posting ... meanwhile, utilize some of the suggested links here to learn about the known mint errors & their relative value ...
...p.s.: a sense of humor helps here, as, from time to time, jokes may be made about images posted (numismatic humor takes a little getting used to...), but the humor isn't directed to you personally...just sharing humor all can enjoy, with no offense directed to anyone in particular ...

Agreed, all I see is post mint damage on a circulated coin that is serving its purpose in commerce.
Take a look at my other hobby ... http://www.jk-dk.art
