I was wondering if all DDO's and DDR's are the same to that specific year. For example on the 1995-D, if you find 2 with the DDO on them, do they look the same as far as the DDO goes?

If there is only 1 DDO for that year then yes all must be the same. Often there is more than 1 DDO for a given year and so they can be different for that year such as the 2009 Formative years cent. It has 10 possible DDOs on Variety Vista.

@arm, for the 1995 D cents, there are four known DDOs. They all look a bit different as you can see when examining them in this link:

I see Spence's point of view, but a DDO-001 will look the same on all DDO-001's same for DDO-002's and so on..

A DDO or DDR is an artifact of the manufacturing of the die. ALL coins struck from that die will have the same features.

I agree with the comments. Also, having a DDO and a DDR on one coin is very rare.

Great point @dear. Looks like I misunderstood the question.

The only quibble I have with this is that as the die gets tired, die cracks and chips can form so there may be a bit of a progression toward a later die state on different examples of the same DDO or DDR.
