I found this in my stash. The penny has faded lines on the Obverse, I tried to get a good shot so you could see what I'm talking about . It's only on the face. The Reverse has nothing notable.
Those appear to be die-roller lines made when the coils of metal used to manufacture planchets/blanks were being pressed down to proper thickness. I have found a few of those throughout my cent finds.
