1981 No Mint Mark Penny - Coin Community Forum

The penny has faded lines on the Obverse, I tried to get a good shot so you could see what I'm talking about . It's only on the face. The Reverse has nothing notable. Has anyone seen this? mrwhatisit Pillar of the Community United States 2955 Posts	Posted 05/07/2024 2:33 pm Those appear to be die-roller lines made when the coils of metal used to manufacture planchets/blanks were being pressed down to proper thickness.
