I purchased this coin raw about fifteen years ago from a local B & M store that dealt in bullion and a few collector coins that they would purchase over the counter.

Man, that strike is hammered and razor sharp. That's absolutely delightful.
I don't see much, if any, signs of wear at all. I'm still trying to figure out if it's even AU or MS. I think I'll ultimately fall in with the AU58 camp.

This was the case of the blind squirrel finding an acorn or three in this case. I bought three raw Seated dollars all in one deal. An 1847,1861, & the 1862. All straight graded at PCGS. The 1861 at AU50 and the 1847 and 1862 at AU58. I sold the 1861 to Rich Ulrich and that covered the cost of the entire purchase and then some. Good Karma.
