Last one that I have questions on, This came with a recent purchase.
Was wondering if this would possibly be genuine. Seems to be quite a few weakly struck spots. The weak spot of the lion & weak spot of the pillar "TR" seem to be in the same spot when flipped. Very shiny for something that is supposed to be 450+ years old. Does seem to have some pvc. I don't have my calipers handy but weight is 6.78 grams.

Hi, Jake ... I would suggest contacting Dan Sedwick ( https://www.sedwickcoins.com/ ), sending him your pictures, & asking his opinion. If genuine, it would be worth the cost of his certifying the coin ... It looks to me that it could be a well-made cast copy from an original, as the details are correct of this later issue of assayer Juan Gutierrez, 1544-1546(?), Mexico City Mint ... I'm no expert, but Dan is (one of the world's foremost...)
...If genuine, the coin would have a value in the $375 - $450 area ... these are among the earliest New World coinage issued by Spain, & nice examples are in good demand ...
... best wishes on this one ...

Looks like a cast copy that came defective in the crown area.

Here's a comparison with a genuine 2R sold NOV 2022 in one of Sedwick's auctions ... note the many slight differences, which would indicate different dies used ...

If Jake's is a counterfeit, Sedwick may want to add your pictures to his known fakes list ( a very small portion of the more common fakes are available to view on his website: https://www.sedwickcoins.com/modernpirates.htm ... click on "Fakes to avoid" ...

...I would also suggest having your coin's silver tested for content. If it's a fake, sterling (.925), or a lesser grade may have been used ( authentic purity for this coin is .931). It should be noted that it's weight of 6.78g is only slightly (.027%) over the norm (6.6g) ...
