1924 P Standing Liberty quarter. I bought this along with 5 other coins locally. This is the first coin of this type in my collection.

I'm fairly certain that the rim is PMD on the obverse 8 o'clock-ish position, but that part of the coin isn't incuse, it's "bumpy-outty."

Thanks for your time.

AU details (scratched) if I was going to assign a numeric grade I think the coin is in the AU53 range. if you are going to keep it, I would acetone it to clean it up a little and avoid future issues

just a side note- it appears whomever sold you this lot was probably aware that each of the coins had some issue. hopefully you did not pay retail for them

I acquired these from a private transaction via CraigsList. I don't have the kind of money a lot of people here seem to have.

If completed ebay sales are correct (aiming at the lower most-common #s), then the Morgan (if MS-64) would cover 80% of my cost, and the Peace dollar at melt the remaining 20% and I will have gotten the 2 IHCs, the quarter, and 1/3 of the Peace dollar "free." I probably did fair to okay on the transaction even though the quarter and 2 IHCs have some issues.

I'm just happy to have a of couple firsts, the Peace dollar and the Standing Liberty quarter, added to my collection (accumulation? tiny hoard? cache? It's generally unorganized.)
