If two or more lamps were used, those lines wouldn't be as visible. Notice how the lines curve to an arc shape, always perpendicular to the light source. panzaldi Bedrock of the Community United States 18635 Posts	Posted 05/21/2024 08:48 am and you can see how challenging it is to grade by photo. lighting, angle and focus are the big three to be able to assess a coin. jacrispies - if moniker used 2 or 3 lamps wouldnt it camouflage the hairlines which would result in an inaccurate assessment? the other area that I considered was the area in the red circle appears to have almost all the toning removed and looks cleaner than the rest of the surfaces indicated that area was wiped. Am I wrong with that assessment? you wont hurt my feelings. just adding to the knowledge base for future assessments Report this Post to the Staff
