Could be useful to compare the diameter as well to make sure that checks out. It could also be helpful to look at the thickness. I've read that sometimes crooks fiddle with those to get the weight correct. Seems like this one is slightly overweight, but that might be because it's a fatman!

Yes the weight seem to vary, I saw one genuine at 26,83. How do you tell what year its from if real? its 39mm and about 2mm thick

I think these are supposed to be 2.5mm thick. I think it's supposed to weight 26.4g-probably within tolerance although you'd expect it to weigh less rather than more due to circulation. The year is the second character at the top---the three horizontal lines. So the first two characters above Yuan Shikai say "Year Three" The problem with these coins is not only the numbers of fakes, but also the different contemporary issues. Which auction house did you get it from?

Well a big pawndealerchain, its very regulated over here, it was advertised as bullionsilver I measured with a ruler so 2,5mm sounds possible, Thank you for info about year this one was sold recently on a auctionsite, with higher weight

I did now a 5 minute test, was cold when I removed it and was silvier when in the acetone if you know what I mean. So silver it looks like If real could it be a chopmark on forehead?

Don't see a chop mark. Looks like there's some Reed Marks, would be weird for a counterfeiter to add these to a coin. Might be the real deal here!

Sweet, yes most likely Reed Marks. Well that not bad for 30 bucks, I believe these go for 100-150 in this condition. Thanks for help
