I bought this coin many years ago. I was curious if this is an error or something else. Sorry for the image quality, I used a bad compressor. Thanks for any help. Would a center punch show on the other side. The reverse has no marks or flattening.

The damage is due to Impacts of a nature-this is obvious due to rising sides seen around some of them. The different sizes lead me to think this is a whimsey involving centering punches for drills
