Hello every one, so my question is how do you know for sure where a blank comes from? I found this up in my attic it weighs 6.1 grams is it possibly a silver quarter, is it even from this country is it nothing these are just some questions going through my head trying to figure out for sure what it is any help would be grateful thank you.

tissue test? Diameter? Quarter weight is 5.7 clad and 6.25 silver. 24.3 wide. John1

It does not. Ia am trying to remeasure the diameter.

I don't have a caliper to measure the diameter and there are no good apps for a true reading I would say it is 24.3 mm

Google told me what a engraving blank is so how do you rule that out, so I can just call it a silver quarter blank?

That center circle in the 2nd pic puts it off as a coin blank for me.
