Hello John1. I saw it advertised in a dealer's newsletter. They may have a few left. They're Coincraft 45 Great Russell Street London WC1B 3JL United Kingdom. Email info@coincraft.com Phone 020 7636 1188 but you'd have to knock a digit or two off the front of that and add +44 for England. Item ref. no. CLL7600. They charge for post and packing so it would be as well to check how much if and when you talk to them. Hope this helps. All the best!

Are we sure that is an error, or did somebody grind that 20 pence coin round and smaller?
I mean, it is perfectly round - if a 5p planchet ended up in the 20p striking chamber, and is expected to enlarge to the 7 sided coin we are used to seeing, then wouldn't it not end up a perfect circle? But rather an odd shape?
Can you provide a weight and diameter of that 20p coin please?
a normal 20p should be about 21.4mm @5.00g and a 5p coin should be at 18mm @ 3.25g

Yes. The error coin is the right diameter and weight for a 5p. The thing is, you can tell from the colour that it's struck from the right alloy for a 20p, and as 20p blanks are round to start with and are fed into the presses from a big hopper, who's going to spot the error?
