So I have a 1982 small date, I think, but no mintmark. I was weighing all my 82 and 83's when I came across a shiny 1982. It weighed 2.5, I think it is the small date, but do not know for sure. Is this coin rare at all? Anyone know the value? It does have some DD I believe. Let me know attaching a Pic now.

Picture is kind of blurry, but it looks like a small date to me.
The Weight Tolerance checks out.
It's made of zinc, circulated, and not worth much.
I am a rank amateur though, so my advice is subpar; better wait for others to chime in!

In 1982 they made the cent in copper 3.11g and copper plated zinc 2.5g.
The rare one is a 1982 small date copper minted in Denver 3.11g

Billions were made, yours seems to be in pretty nice condition but it would have to grade very high to have any substantial value.

Small date zinc. It's a spender.
