1922-S Peace Dollar "hotlips"? Pretty Deep Doubling.

Here is a 1922-S Peace dollar graded MS64+ by NGC, with doubling of the under nose, upper lip and chin. The doubling seems to be pretty deep in the design, and going in different directions. I mention this because I am under the assumption that Machine Doubling of devices must all be facing in the same direction? What do you think? I'll see if I can get better pics, without the shadows. It shows much better in the scan as is. You'll notice that the scan glare, like moss, is on the north parts of the devices.
