Krause tells me Haleru is Czech or related countries... but this coin doesn't show up in my book.

Picts attached.

Thoughts?

Many thanks,
Patrick

It think it's some token... Prahy means Prauge.

The railway-wheel-on-wings with lightning-bolts indicates to me it's some kind of electric railway or tramway token.

Again many many thanks. I thought it must be a token but the 20 Haleru denomination thew me off.

I have to say, my time dedicated to world coin collecting ebbs and flows so my time on this site does as well, and is exclusively lurking or asking ID questions- I am very grateful for all the help and information you all provide.

cheers,
Patrick

Public transport token sounds right to me. "Doplatek" means something like surcharge, "drahy" is railway/s (elektricke drahy is electric tramway). And Mesta Prahy means Capital Prague; see the current logo http://www.dpp.cz/images/logo.gif of the Prague public transport services.

Interestingly, nowadays the heller (haler, halere, haleru) coins are not used in the Czech Republic any more. It's crowns (koruna, koruny, korun) only now.
