1983 P Lincoln Memorial Cent With Three Die Cracks

allcoinsaregood Pillar of the Community United States 808 Posts	Posted 06/07/2024 1:49 pm 1983 P LMC with three Die Cracks! A weak Die Crack Spikehead on the obverse which comes from the rim between WE and TRUST of the motto to Lincoln's head through the hair. Tough to see, but it's there. The coin is very dark but the two Die Cracks on the reverse are easy to see. The left one is from the roof across the I in UNITED to the rim. The second from the right roof of the Memorial to between the R and I of AMERICA to the rim. I realize these Die Cracks are in the normal position for Lincoln Cents, but this coin was the only one out of six rolls of pennies that showed a defect so I submitted it to the Community. I'm curious about the cracks on the memorial - they don't connect all the way through the roof, do they? I recently had a cent where the crack went 3/4 the way through the roof.
