I was taking a look a my 1916 d dime ( I had it for over 25 years ) and I had never look a the mint mark before , so I took a look with at it and I believe it could be an rpm , I look in Wexler's and there's two with split serifs , but in mine is hard to find any markers ( gone with circulation ) to really say for sure , but I can see the split serif on the bottom and top serifs even thou it has flattening .
Coinfrog , I don't know if it add anything to the value of a key coin that has a high value on it's own , but it's something that a regular 1916d doesn't have ..
Thanks EV , minor rpm ( split serifs ) but an rpm not at less in my opinion ,Wexler's has two of them and I may have to do try an overlay to see if it's a match with 002 .
