That's a nice find! You can even see the crazy looking E on the full coin shot.

Hi, yes. If one is not careful it could be overlooked. The R of TRUST is always my 1st or 2nd go to look when searching for certain years of DDO's. That and of course the date. I only found one in the BU roll, Thanks, Frank B.

Hi, what would you say this coin is worth? Coppercoins.com is saying $10.50 or something but I think it is worth more. I have never seen one BU sell before. Let me know your opinion. Thanks, Frank B.

Hi Frank B. I couldn't find much information on a quick internet search, but what little I did find seems to indicate that the 1978-D WDDO 001 isn't very popular and probably would only fetch around $10 to $12... although I also could not find a BU for sale or sold, so who knows Still a nice find IMHO! Congrats!

Nice find. Value is ultimately driven by demand. I'm not sure there is much demand for 1978 D varieties.

Prices given seem reasonable. About ten bucks. Not many collect these and prices for them are low even though rare to find for sale.
