So I found a 1992 penny that looks like it could be a Close AM, so until I get my coin microscope in the mail, I use my phone and some pics look like it's close another looks like it could be a DDR which makes it look closer than it is. I was just wondering if I could get you guys to tell me what you think. Thanks so much!! PS these pics are off the same 1992 just with different lighting.

Personally, I would need to see an image of the entire reverse in order to make an informed decision.

Wide AM

Some sort of dent or scratch between the letters. Follow the sides of the letters the, at the base they are quite far apart

This is a WAM cent - but a full coin image of the reverse is necessary to complete the analysis. You see there are 3 points we look at to determine a CAM/WAM coin.

1. the AM itself - but if the AM is damaged it makes it difficult to tell.
2.the FG initials - close to the memorial = WAM, far from the memorial = CAM
3. the TAT of the word sTATes - if the A is centered it is a WAM, if shifted to the right closer to the second 'T' then it would be a CAM.
