Well, your full coin images are a bit dark, but it looks pretty nice - I do see a flat area on the second 9 (a hit?) and some other minor dings - could be bag marks from the mint processes.

Appears to be a nice example, but photos are a bit difficult to evaluate.

Hi, you are probably right. I would like to send this to Dan or Scott to see if they think it could be a RPM. The placement and curvature is very odd don't you think. Crazy RPM's in 1959 D. I found 9 in 5 BU rolls.

You could have them look at it. You'd have a definite answer.

I see what you're seeing but in my opinion, it's just damage to the die or misplaced metal from the 5.

Pics are too dark to evaluate fully.

Hi Frank Baumann. Not to step on any toes in any way, but I have one with similar doubled date and possible RPM to the south. I'm not positive about it either. I didn't get the answer I was looking for when I sent it out last year.

Questionable color, UNC detail, Ungradable.
I sent 10 coins and only 2 came back graded.
They're graded MS 64. The others all got questionable color and Ungradable. Nothing mentioned about the errors or anything else. It was expensive for nothing. I let my membership expire with those other guys. ErrorsRCool.
