Die crack with a tiny associated die chip flirting with the rim. Looks cool.

Hi, possible full blown Cud in a later die stage example of this coin. If the die was not pulled too early.

It may have not been pulled, there are a couple in the same area that have a similar mm location too.

Hi, Wow cool. Thanks for that link. I have never found a full blown Cud. I always just look for doubling but I have recently started looking all over the coins for Cuds .I know to turn it over to see weakness on the opposite side of Cuds I wonder how many I have missed over the years?

Cuds will always involve the rim, This crack and chip does, but a Cud will also always be higher then the rim too because there would be no die to contain the metal.
