1943 P Lincoln steel Cent Large Pre Cud Die Break OBV. Is this the right terminology for this error ? The die break runs from rim throughout Lincoln's bust to rim. Let me know. Thanks, Frank B.

Very nice. By the way, that would be die "break" not die "brake".

I do the same thing - (but you may wat to fix the same typo in the title also )

But the crack is so thin, I'm not sure it would qualify as a 'pre-CUD'. When looking for pre Cuds I usually want to see a bit of movement of the design elements in relation to the main part of the coin. This shows that the part of the Die is starting to break away from the rest .

Hi, thanks. I do not see where to change it in description. Only in reply. Can you tell me how to do that? Thanks.

I think it's just a Die Crack and not a Pre-Cud.
