1977 D new discovery doubled die REV cent. BU. Looks to be EMDS. Minor doubling can be seen on the upper part of UNIITED, A strong notch can be seen on the lower leg of the R in AMERICA as well as doubling in AMERICA ( Extra Thickness )... Doubling on FG. Minor doubling can be seen on the lower part of N in ONE and N T of CENT. This is not the 1977 D WDDR 001 or is it ? The die marks do not match and has more minor doubling than noted in the Wexler files. Let me know what you think. Is it the wddr 001 or not ? Thanks Frank B.

Hi, yes thanks. I wish I found more than one. I may save it and send it to Scott and Dan when they are ready. I can post the pix. of ONE CENT but the minor doubling may be too hard to see. Let me know if you would like me to. Thanks, Frank B.

If you can, sure. I'd love to see pictures of the doubling on ONE CENT.

Sprry but someone will have to point out the doubling on 'ONE CENT' because I'm not seeing it.

I see some doubling on that part, but honestly it looks like MD to me.

Given the images posted (and the lighting used), I'm not seeing a DDR either. Perhaps the lighting reflection on the devices makes it appear there is doubling. Just can't say. Would like to examine this one in-hand.

Hi, definitely a DDR. Not the strongest DDR I have ever seen. I am not trying to trick anyone. Just trying to inform you that it exists. That is all. Thanks Frank B.

My opinion is when you enlarge the images so much, it starts to show things way too exaggerated.
I'm not saying yes or no on a Doubled Die here, but perhaps looking at the coin so extremely close, could
be creating errors that just aren't there, or that are so minor they don't rate as an error.

I second that opinion.
