Hi, this is my first bust dime purchase . I am by no means an expert on grading, but it looks slightly overgraded to me. Maybe PCGS saw some details that I missed. Please let me know your thoughts. Also, does anybody know an online source for bust dimes? I want to attribute the JR variety of this coin. Edited by rkp 04/29/2009 11:44 am

VF-20? Upon first glance, the reverse looks a tad better than that, but the lack of rim detail puts it there too. The lack of "clasp detail" holds it back.

VF20 or F15 with a yellow sticker.

I would have to go with F-15.

Man you guys are tough....I was thinking at least VF25. The reverse looks like a weaker strike then the obverse but I think the obverse caries more weight in the overall grade.

bmanofnbc is "correct"! I say "correct" in quotes because while that was PCGS's opinion, I personally feel it is a VF-20 coin. I paid closer to F-15 money for it though. Thanks for playing :)

It's definitely a nice coin, though. Doesn't look like it has any real problems.

I would have called it VF20 possibly VF25. Pleasing details remain and coin does look original. So many of these have been cleaned. Nice!
