I didn't have very good coin rolls from the bank this week, so I looked through my loose coins and discovered a 1950-D that was in a roll of wheatys! I remember searching this coin for DDO's and a RPM but no luck. It's a nice coin with good fields on obverse and reverse but because of circulation wear I don't believe it is Mint State but maybe an AU. When I took pics I focused on Coin nicks in the fields! Look at rhe pics and let me know your thoughts and regards to all.

Agree--low end AU. Photos appear to show a cleaned coin--might be a lighting artifact exacerbated by an image processing technique.

Coin looked like you see it. I only clean coins with acetone when there dirty! As for image processing I use Picasa to store my images, unfortunately, Google no longer supports updates for Picasa. I continue to use it because it is easy to convert picture files to JPEG!

Definitely not natural surfaces. Somebody mopped it. Just a spender.

I'll say AU. Not sure about it being cleaned though. Could just be the lighting.
Errers and Varietys.

AU53 - looks like it was cleaned decades ago with that fairly heaving toning. I think the light could also be altering a little of what we are seeing. just for fun you should take a couple shots without any light at all on a black background
