I hope this is in the correct area? I am trying to find a good source on error coins on the Internet. I have many from clipped plankets to lamination, filled in letters and numbers to missing letters. Any help?

Coppercoins.com does not list any errors at all, just die varieties. I do not know an any site that lists values of errors because they can vary dramatically in value depending on the degree of the error and the denomination. Laminations, unless very severe, are usually seen as a detriment to the coin and not an error. Incomplete(clipped) planchets on cents are usually just worth a few dollars and it can go up depending on the denomination. Filled in letters and numbers are caused by die chips and are not usually collected as errors. Missing letters and numbers are due to filled dies(grease and other machinery gunk) and unless very dramatic, are usually not collected as errors either.

The seminal reference book for errors is The Official Price Guide to Mint Errors by Alan Herbert, it describes the many types of error coins in depth and their source(planchet, die, strike) in addition to providing a basic value outline.

Coneca has a website and a forum...don't know if there is any more activity on their forum than here:

http://board.conecaonline.org/

What kind of information are you looking for? To learn what causes the various errors?

The Official Price Guide to Mint Errors by Alan Herbert is a good (non-online) resource. It covers varieties and errors, and discusses the minting process and what causes the different varieties and errors. Don't let the name of the book fool you into thinking it is a book where you can look up the specific coin you have in your hand and know what it is worth.

Thanks for the input. My father collected error coins mostly. I have bags of them I am going through. I guess it would be worth getting a catalog. It does seem that there were many filled letters and numbers earlier. I have clipped plankets up to 5%. And other errors I do not even know what they are called. Trying to find certain subjects are hard when I do not know the terms for each error. But slowly I am learning?
