Probably be Cotton and Co rolls of them from Imperial eventually too. At least those of us who can't get to Woolworths will still be able to get a set. Would love to know how the ebay scalpers always get such coins so quickly and easily.

I have heard that Australia Post will have the carded Uncirculated $2 Olympic coins from Wednesday 17th July. The loose coins are only available thru the tills at Woolworths

Quote: I have heard that Australia Post will have the carded Uncirculated $2 Olympic coins from Wednesday 17th July Way cheaper than for the same listed on ebay but still too much for me when you can get them all for face value in your change at Woolies over the next 8 weeks! https://auspost.com.au/shop/collect...tralian-mint

Thanks for the heads up Jens coins. I have purchased a set online from Australia Post. Much better than supporting ebay scalpers. I see the scalpers are offering big discounts on their coins now trying to get rid of them.

I collected a handful, I think the staff are tired of me asking for these special release $2 coins. Trick is to shop at multiple stores.

I think I've only seen the Paralympics ones in change - I did get some sets though.

Maybe these coins aren't popular with collectors? I have managed to collect a few complete sets each week noodling for the past few weeks. Anyone else finding heaps in change?

Yes Sally. I am in NSW and get about 8 to 10 for every $2000 noodle.

I don't know, the coloured $2 coins still seem popular enough? That said, if I need to hunt in change for them I am less interested.
