I know it's nothing special but I thought it to be in really good condition considering finding it in a cash register! Ithink I can actually see cheekbone? Thoughts? Probably not worth anything correct?

Looks AU. I can see some minor rub on the high points. It's a spender though.

Mid-range AU for me. Good album hole filler.

nice coin if you found it in circulation but it is circulated and has no collector value other than to fill a hole in an album until a better one comes up

You are correct, a circulated Memorial cent is not worth anything over face value.

John1,
I figured mid AU...I realize it's got some wear on it, it has been out in the wild after all LOL and sure there are better out there but for me... a very amateur collector I really like it. And after looking at newer cents it seems older have more detail and just look cooler! Found a shiny 1999 D and while nice I like older ones more.
You all have been so amazing at helping me with what I have and answering my questions. Thankful there is a place like this to go for people like me!! THANK YOU!!!!

If that's the best one you have, then keep it until a better one comes along.

Wow that's a beautiful cent!! I just VERY recently started to look for other pennies than wheat ones. I actually bought 2 penny rolls today that I haven't even opened yet!
