Pics too dark to see surface details clearly.

This looks like a beautiful coin to my eyes, even if the pictures are a little dark. The fields look immaculate. On the obverse, the only points which concern me are the scratch on Lincoln's right shoulder and the repeated marks below the bow tie. On the reverse, I see tiny nicks in U1, the N of ONE and in the left wheat lines, as well as an extremely minor rim ding hardly worth mentioning.

I think the minimum grade you're looking at here is MS-65RB. *If* the obverse nicks are not that noticeable in normal lighting (or if they look exaggerated in your picture), then I think it would grade MS-66RB, but no higher.

Even in these dark pics there is evident scuffing in the left obverse field.

Difficult to accurately asses given the dark nature of the images--likely somewhere in the MS64-65 range.

Images are a bit dark, but that is a nice 09VDB. I think it would hit 64RB for sure.

I am astounded that so many of you have offered grades on these dark pics. A full 2/3 of the obverse surface cannot be seen clearly, it's just deep muddy brown.

Am I wrong? Do you disagree? How can you grade from a dim 1/3 of a coin's surface?

The pics aren't that bad. I've seen enough of these to make a grade guess. It has no major hits and I can see the cartwheel luster. The reverse is outstanding. On a bad day this might be a 64.
