Are there other ways to check for a 1989 Lincoln Cent on a 1988 Lincoln Cent without the initials FG? I don't see anything that looks like an FG. I looked on variety Vista at the transitional 88 and 89 but no mention of no FG. What are those marks above that you UNI in United? Never seen those before. Die cracks above the I and A in America? Ty.

Plating issues, along with Ridge Ring and a Die Crack. As far as the initials go, we are going to need much clearer photos.

Roller lines, a slight Ridge Ring, some plating issues. I can see part of the FG, but with these images, it is hard to determine if it is grease, die polishing, or plating issues.
