Does the numismatic community for some reason dislike the San Antonio Texas area? Are there, or has there ever been a big show the area? Heck, I'd settle for a small show at this point. There desn't seem to be many coin shops (or they don't advertise anyway) and those that are in my area don't really have a large selection of inventory from which to search.

Most shows are in the DFW area, some in Austin, and of course the Houston area.

Unfortunately, coinshows.com has implemented pay-to-play and coinzip.com seems to frequently miss listings.

Thanks for the responses and I appreciate the info. I guess there just isn't enough interest in numismatics in S.Texas to draw a show. Are coinshows.com and coinzip.com the go to for show info?

I've been to and even set up at the Schertz show when I lived in San Antonio. Decent medium sized local show.

I believe he means the shows must pay to be listed, since we can freely view the lists.
