Zinc Rot / Split Plating issues here... and the "O" mint mark
which is the New Orleans Mint hasn't been in service since around 1900,
and appeared mostly on Morgan silver dollars.

Zinc rot it is. OMM stopped in 1955 and RPMs in 1989.

Aye--mint mark split plating which exposed the zinc core, which is leading to zinc rot.
