Pretty sure this is a combination of md and Die Deterioration. Tripping me out how quickly the direction changes though

Looks like a combo of both Die Deterioration Doubling and Machine Doubling.

Please, no more screen shots of your scope - just upload the actual image your scope takes.

and The does appear to be a combo of MD and DDD.

If you rotated the coin or changed the way the light hits the coin, you would see that what currently appears as doubling is actually an angle between the base and top of the lettering. As the die wears, the angle of raised features decreases from 90 degrees from the plane of the coin to give the appearance of doubling.
