Hey guys so I guess most of these come with Retained Cud? Or die cracks? I might be wrong about the date but I'm sure it's the 70's. This one cost me my 2 clipped quarters. worth it or lame trade?

I don't see a Retained Cud on either of your die cap strikes...

Are you referring to the horizontal line through the upper reverse? That's the impression from the base of the Lincoln Memorial on the die cap.

Nice errors though!

Not an expert on these things, but I really like this cent. And if the clips were minor, then it seems like you might have done pretty well.

No Cud. Still a nice Struck Through Die Cap. Definitely a good trade.

Were the quarters silver? If not sounds like a good trade. if the clips were average.

The clips were not silver, you can check which ones they are in my posts I think I uploaded both of them. I really liked them but I need to keep my focus on only cents!!

The value for that die cap is around $50 +/- $5.

It's a late-stage brockage. A late-stage die cap can generate a late-stage brockage, a late-stage counterbrockage, no design at all, a sharp, unexpanded Memorial design (in the case of a clashed cap), and many other things besides. That's why it's always better to be specific when describing capped die strikes.
