Does anyone know of a reputable place in St. Louis, Missouri that I can sell my coin collection to? It's a large collection and by the time I go through ebay to see what they have been sold for, I'll be dead by then! Lol! I have no idea what I have and need to sell due to financial and medical issues. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry I don't know about St. Louis. There is a YouTube channel Silver Seeker who lives in midwest, goes to coin stores, coin shows in Iowa, Missouri, Oklahoma. You could get on YouTube, contact him, maybe he will respond.

If you ever get up this way, I have a dead-honest dealer in the north Chicago suburbs I can recommend.

How are they packaged? if they are loose, the chances are they are not worth much(post a picture here, you may get an assessment on what you have), if they are in the 2X2 holders, look at the writing on the holders- frequently has price info.

Suggest finding two or three coin shops in the area (a Google search will turn up a half dozen or so in greater St Louis), Visit them with just a small sampling of what you have--don't share that you have a much larger accumulation. Have the proprietor take a look at what you bring in and see what they say--observe how they handle the pieces, etc. Check online reviews if accessible. If you get positive vibes, great. If something feels odd, thank them for their time and gracefully exit.
