Picked this one up awhile back, just getting around to it. Since no one that comes to the shop seems to be very interested in errors or varieties, I get first dibs on most every error that comes through....that is nice

I thought I knew the mechanics behind these, but I can't quite figure the marks on the un-struck portion of the reverse- The two semi-circular lines . Maybe someone can shed some light on this, or correctly attribute the error . Thanks for Looking !

Looks like it has full steps (or extremely close) as well! That is a sweet coin... now I kinda want one, too!

Most off center Jefferson's get full steps just because there's less resistance because the planchets just being hit partially. Equal pressure on less metal. The other marks were probably created by the collar since it's only on the reverse side. ~ Jim
