AncillaryRedoubt New Member United States 2 Posts	Posted 08/09/2024 11:26 am I am not a coin collector, but my dad was, so a little rubbed off on me. My son has this quarter. At first I thought it was a fake because I'd never seen a modern quarter with such an obviously different Washington profile on the obverse, and the border seems uneven. Then I realized the idea of a "fake" quarter is kind of ridiculous. I looked it up, saw that it's a legitimate quarter, and found you nice folks. In regards to the border, is this an error? Is it a collectible in any way? Do I need to confiscate it from my son for his own good? Thank you for your attention and expertise. Report this Post to the Staff

It does look like the reverse is more mis-aligned than the obverse.
