Sorry about no full obverse and reverse, my phone s&^ks and the PC camera won't pan out far enough. can't remember the specifics, but when I was searching these I remember someone here mentioned the marker on STATES was a better determining factor so I've included that as well.

Cent also seems to have quite a bit of MD as well on the E,R,C of America. can't remember why I snapped a photo of FG initials, but I'm sure I knew why back then!

Because you correctly remembered that the FG is different on Wide AM vs. Close AM. Wide AM cents have FG close to the base, with a visible serif on the G hook. Close AM cents have a FG far from the base, with no hook on the G.
