Quote: can't remember why I snapped a photo of FG initials Because you correctly remembered that the FG is different on Wide AM vs. Close AM. Wide AM cents have FG close to the base, with a visible serif on the G hook. Close AM cents have a FG far from the base, with no hook on the G.
