2017 P Lincoln Shield Cent / LSC : Possible Doubled Die Obverse / DDO

While the markers seem to be there, they may also just be plating bubbles. The upper left of the shield lacks the die chip for Stage B but there is a die crack that doesn't show in the listing. On top of that, there are 2 similar working hub listings that are similar. So is this a DDO or not? Report this Post to the Staff

On wex see how the TY is thicker than your coin.I also think those "markers" on wex are plating debris and will vary on each coin. John1 Report this Post to the Staff

A lot of what you pointed out as die markers just look like microscopic scuffs or breaks in the staining, they don't match the markers photo'd by Wexler.
