Looks like Machine Doubling, where it is showing on the hair and ear.

ADDED: It could be plating disturbance doubling too. LINK https://www.error-ref.com/other-forms-of-doubling/

Leaning towards MD though.

Not seeing a Doubled Die anywhere on this coin. I'm only seeing Machine Doubling or Plate Disturbance Doubling on the earlobe.
Errers and Varietys.

User1975; I got some great advice here on this forum when I was new to searching for errors.
Everything is not gonna be a Doubled Die, in fact they are quite rare for the most part to find
them in the wild or wherever. You would do well to study Double Dies before posting every single
coin you come across. I do not want to discourage you from anything, but you might want to learn
a little more about the subject, so you can rule out false DDO, DDR etc. Good Luck!

I have a 1974 D LMC with Machine Doubling that looks a lot like your coin.

So much negativity, I don't think every coin is a DDO DDR or error or variety, is what it is though you guys have obviously made up your mind

Hi, keep posting coins that you think may. be a doubled die or error. I post new discoveries all the time and some people agree and some do not. The point of this sight is to teach and to learn. Many people see the post but do not comment but they learn from it. I think you brought up a good question on this coin and enjoyed looking at it. It may not be a DDO but it is interesting to learn what is going on with it.
