I took your advice and sent the last 1917s SLQ back because you said it had been cleaned. What is your opinion about whether this one has been cleaned, what it's grade is, and whether its a full head or not. Thanks.

The coin has no green on it. It is somehow being generated by the resolution reducing process.

It has some wear. Definitely in an AU wear state. It has next to no luster, and the surface of the coin looks textured, which suggests cleaning. Not sure about the full head.

Appears original AU, early Standing Liberty quarters do often have that "textured" look.
Attractive specimen.

I think the granulated appearance is due to pixelation of the photo. I'd say AU-58 at a minimum, and low MS is possible. This looks nicer than your other one, especially if there is decent luster. I'll take your word for it that the green is an artifact, but if you buy it, an acetone rinse wouldn't hurt.

really tough to determine AU58 and lower MS on this one. there is a tad too much glare and when you are looking for very slight circulation only on the highest points it could be hiding it. there are two areas on the reverse that are bothering me. the field from K10-K12 around the lettering and K4-K7 along the rim area. the discoloration in these areas either suggest circulation or a light cleaning. I'm going to go with AU58 and can't get a good read on a cleaning using these photos. if you can supply photos with less glare it my help. don't get me wrong, the lighting is not bad here. there is just a really fine line on this one between AU and MS.

Fairly pleasing for an AU coin .
Virtually full head , no real distractions.
Looks original .

Very light friction on the high points. Strong AU-58.
