What are (in your opinion) the best print (not online) coin news publications? I can always buy a coin values magazine, but what do you all recommend for coin news?

I subscribe to Numismatic News, a weekly publication(~$36/year). It has a monthly price guide supplemental, a Mint Statistics column, and of course all of the obligatory new coin release and show information along with various other type series study articles.

I look forward to getting Numismatic News every week. I'll be reading it on the couch, and my wife will ask something like "What could they possibly have found to write about since last week that would fill up that paper?" Of course ads (including classifieds) occupy a significant amount of space.

I get Coin World every week for $1.95 - great news, but the ads can be annoying. A lot of overpriced modern stuff.

Numismatic News is a great paper, I love the up to date information, Error finds, Mint release notifications, just an all around good to keep up on paper for the collector/Numismatist. Also a good source of very interesting articles/Opinions.....

My favorites are the Numismatist, the Numismatic Chronicle, and the American Journal of Numismatics.

For world coins I find World Coin News the best. It gives a round up each month of new types, which effectively is a monthly update to the Krause SCWC.
