I found this silver nickel CRH and it was missing a chunk at the rim. It's obviously been in circulation for a while but do y'all think about this being a planchet flaw of some sort or PMD?

With these pictures, I'm going to say PMD. You see how the rim is pushed in? If it was a damaged planchet, the surface of the coin would be flat in that area.

That's what I thought too. Plus I've never seen any sort of clip like this one. Here's another pic for good measure.
