I've seen die traveling either EW, WE, NS, SN or a combination. This one to me looks like it (spun?) in one direction. Do you think that's possible especially for the anvil die? I don't recall running across one. Coin also looks to have a minor RPM. There's no 1974D RPM listed. Rob. Report this Post to the Staff

Tacc Pillar of the Community United States 3535 Posts	Posted 09/03/2024 5:52 pm IMHO I'd say Machine Doubling on "US of America" just because there's no known listings to match for your coin. The Variety Vista listing is a much more pronounced DDR, but your coin has some of those characteristics. Slight RPM probably with evident split serif(s). Report this Post to the Staff
