My experience with removing glue from a coin is it took about a week it so in acetone to remove it. It was a silver coin that was glued to some paper backing for whatever reason but it did take the acetone a good while to eat through all the glue.
If it is epoxy, acetone will not remove it. The only way to know for sure is to send it to a TPG and then post full coin slab photos front and back of slab. ANACS is the least expensive. I am going to lock this thread for now. John1
